‘Cheers to you EunJung-ah. Congratulations for your promotion. This dinner is on you.’ Jangwoo took his beer can and clinked with hers.

‘Yah Lee Jangwoo don’t try to cheat me with your words. You are still paying tonight.’ EunJung tried to push the responsibility to the guy in front of her.

‘Ham EunJung, do you think I still do not know you? After all these 15 years, I have learn to ‘pay’ for all the meals we have eaten together. Have you even tried paying?’ Jangwoo retorted while shoving his beer around.

‘Then why are you still asking when you already knew the answer? You are the guy of course you should pay.’ EunJung drinks another mouthful of beer.

‘Oh, really? Then who is the one insisted to pay for the meal when a new male colleague came to our office? We are both men. You are acting bias here!’ Jangwoo retorted while opening another can.

‘Lee Jangwoo, you better stop now I get really angry here. I am the lead for today so I get to make decision. For today’s meal you are going to pay.’ EunJung finishes her sentence and stood up from her seat.

Lee Jangwoo pulled out his wallet while shaking his head. This woman is sure hard to deal with.

‘Ahjumma, we are leaving. How much is all this?’

‘Young lad, your girlfriend is really pretty.’ said the food stall boss while clearing up the table.

‘Oh ahjumma you are mistaken. She is just a friend and definitely not my style. Thanks for the food.’ Jangwoo paid for the meal before running out to catch up with her.

When Jangwoo left the foodstand, he saw EunJung trying to stabilize herself after all the beer drinking. Suddenly EunJung loses her footstep and falls forward. Quickly Jangwoo grabbed her from the back.

‘Yah can you be more careful? Let me call the cab and send you home now.’ Jangwoo said worriedly while holding onto her shoulders.

After 10 minutes, the cab arrived. Jangwoo got in before helping the half-drunk EunJung into the car. During the car ride, EunJung was on Jangwoo’s shoulder, drooling. Jangwoo grossed at the scene and took out his handkerchief to wipe her mouth.

How did I ever get stuck with this woman?
