JW: Hello everybody, I am actor Lee Jangwoo. Happy Lunar New Year to everyone.
Q: Does it have differences when you are in real relationship and in television?
JW: In drama, no matter what we must indulge into the role to act.
Shows like WGM is a reality tv show.
Even in WGM this is how I behave in everyday life .
A lot of attitude and joking manner is the real me.
Q: Have you done any most romantic events?
JW: Actually I have never done any romantic event.
So in WGM, to capture my wife’s heart, I have prepared so called romantic event which is not romantic event at all for her.
Not long ago, we went to the herb’s farm to feed farm animals. And also to sit snow sleigh and watch snow together.
I even booked a room with spa and we did spa together (O.O) <– my response to this sentence
It will be better if we drank some red wine but I didn’t prepare any of it.
This is what I prepare, ‘vacation + relaxing’ romantic trip.
Q: Before this. EunJung and you are ‘sunbaenim + hubaenim’ relationship, will this speed up your relationship to be closer?
JW: At first, I didn’t know that she and I are in the same university.
She is my favourite idol singer.
I am their fan.
But when we first met, I am still a little afraid.
Because EunJung is gives me a kind of proud and cold image, so I am a little scared.
After I knew that I am her sunbaenim, then only I start to take initiatives.
Iniatially as a sunbaenim, as a man to assist(?) [not sure if this is the right word >.<] her.
So the filming gets easier
Q: Do you and EunJung contact each other frequently?
JW: Normally we do contact each other a lot
In real life, just like married couple, we call and encourage each other
Q: What is your ideal style? (means what he looks at in a woman?)
JW: Actually through WGM my ideal style changed.
Before WGM the first thing I look for is physical/outer appearance.
Must be a pretty lady
After filiming WGM, my ideal style become more obvious/realistic.
Hope that she can take care of the family, better if she can cook well
And also must be loyal to me (all attention on me =P)
After filming WGM I feel that my ideal style became my mum
A mother like woman?
Yes, woman like my mum is my ideal style.
But everyone say its impossible to find these kind of women.
So my ideal style have changed.
Q: About your ‘unpopular’ period
He said those times, he felt unsure of his future thinking about whether this career is suitable for him. This past memories will be used as encouragement to make him better.
Q: Any thought of venturing into Chinese market?
His favourite Hongkong movie idol is Tony Leung. He said that Chinese fans are very enthusiastic. He would join a Chinese drama if there is any opportunity.
Q: Solo album plans
Being a singer in the past, he knew that its not easy. He will wait when time is right to come out a solo album.
Q: Favourite music genre
He likes playing guitar recently especially singing with acoustic guitar. Now he likes this kind of genre. He used to listen to black men’s R&B style of music.
Q: Memories of 24/7, relationship with other two members
JW: Those times are really hard. We even had to sing on street and ask people for meal. Now three of them got better in other fields. We do spent time together drinking and playing together.
Q: Happiest and hardest time during drama filming
JW: The hardest part is during the early days of filming because you need to get into the character and see audience response to your character. Happiest time is when the filming ends and when more people like you character in the drama and know you.
Q: Characters you like to challenged
JW: Not acting as some rich guy but a normal 27 year old young adult fighting to succeed in his life.
Q: Wish that you fans will look at you as what kind of actor?
JW: I wish that they will look at me as Tony Leung, someone who has great acting skills with lots of emotion.
Q: Say something about Fany (Hwanhee)
JW: He was the reason for me to enter this field. He debuted when I was just Standard 6. (I guess 12 or 13 y/o) Because Fany is my cousin, during Valentine’s day I received a lot of chocolates. That’s why I entered this circle.
Q: How is it being the MC of KBS Music Bank?
JW: I was very nervous for the first time and made a lot of mistakes. Hope after lots of practice, I will be better next time.
Q: In the past, have you tried musical before?
Other than school performance, ‘Roly Poly’ Musical is the first time for me.
Q; How is the ‘Roly Poly’ Musical performance?
JW: All musicals seem similar, with acting and singing and dancing at the same time but I feel the singing and dancing are harder for me.
Q: Acting with T-ara members, what is EunJung’s response?
JW: They are considered as my sister-in-laws. I have kiss scene with them.
Kept thinking whether to have real kiss or fake kiss
But on the stage, its bad timing to think of all this.
So I still kissed my sister-in-law in the end.
Me and sister in law are very awkward.
Many people watched and said, ‘How can they be like this?’ <– (same response our CC-ers gave >.<)
I felt a lot burden at this part.
EunJung said that she will come to watch the performance
But I am also not sure, she said its okay since it’s only sister in law
But in the heart how will anyone know what she is thinking?
So now I am also not sure what to do. When she comes, should I have real kiss or fake kiss.
Q: If you became the member of new season ’1 night 2 days‘ which place you would like to recommend? <– (mission of this show is to introduce different parts of Korea during 1 night-2days trip)
JW: Korean loves camping even in winter so I would recommend people to camp in South Pole (Nam Geok). How is the feeling to camp in place about -50 degree celsius. In Korea I have experience of camping in places with -20 degree celsius.
Q: Ending speech
JW: In year 2012 the audience will be seeing me through ‘KBS Music Bank’ and ‘We got married’ and some other things. I don’t wish to act as a rich playboy anymore but some other challenging roles and I believe its coming soon. Everyone please anticipate and don’t forget me. Ok….I don’t need any more proofs that Woojung are real. It’s like they’re hinting to us, CC-ers, that they’re dating, No, actually they’re just indirectly confirming it. I’m enough with analysing, everything is just too obvious now….I used to worry about how will they respond when media asks them about their relationship, I used to worry that I might get disappointed with their responses, they used to give boring and typical answers about each other, but now they’re very open when speaking up about their relationship, I’m just quite satisfied now….I have no doubts now.

lol, how long do you follow WooJung and JangWoo in particular?.. he always says things like this, we pretty much used to it. you know he had LOTS of kisses during all this time he is in WGM (lol, I believe if people would count, he placed first of all Korean actors by amount of kisses and different actresses he kissed during that time): MV, dramas, now – musical.
I say this as my personal opinion: but I think he has nothing against these kisses. Have you seen BTS of him kissing PMY? He looked so passionately on-camera, but as soon as camera is off he returned to his moody look and the script. because it’s only a work for him. his mindset is ok with performing kissing scene, basically it means nothing to him in emotional perspective, but he gets that some can be angry/sad about this particular scene. and now he hestitates whether to do kiss scene in front of EunJung: she said she’s ok with it (and he’s ok too, so why not to kiss some other chick? it’s all work he feels nothing towards that girl), but actually he understands that it’s not a comfortable situation. important thing is that he is concerned more not about other people’s opinion but EunJung’s. And watch the vid – how his face changes when he starts to talk about EunJung after kiss with SIL.
if thing like this bothers you a lot, it will be hard for you to support WooJung as a couple. they always have so much drama involving other actors, kisses and fans, some believe that JangWoo is a cheater from the episode when he said that Jiyeon is pretty.
but somehow WooJung always manage to overshadow those talks

Lol, first of all WTF moments: Roly Poly musical. He said it’s his 1st musical, but what about that musical back in 2008, we even have his performance from there. Was it his school musical? With press-conference and press-photos? And his ‘not-fake’ kiss? They’re obviously didnt have lips-to-lips contact but he still considers it as a real kiss? Well, they were very close and it looked more real than most of fake kisses in dramas.
And see how WGM changed him. To that extent that JangWoo finally understood that not the visual appearance is the most important about a girl. Yes, I believe at first he was attracted to EunJung by her sexy appeal, but then knowing her better, he started to love other things about her. He didn’t say it but how else WGM could influence on him that much? I dunno, it may seem like I try to make up things but I have the same vibe about EunJung and JangWoo’s mom: visually very soft and kind, but both have a strong core inside.
Idk about cooking: we all have impression that EunJung cant cook at all and JangWoo thinks the same, but in reality he liked almost all dishes she made and even said to his mom that EunJung cooks really well. Also I think EunJung is considered as a bad cook only because she never cooked before. She just didn’t have a chance to use her instincts. But as you see even without big experience she managed to cook so many good dishes. That’s just in her and she needs more time to gain some experience in this area.

I don’t know about his other performances but I believe he did all the kisses (but I still don’t get why he called this a real kiss
it didnt seem like one). He just followed his previous performances and kissed Jiyeon as he kissed other actresses before. For me him wanting to fake kiss in front of EunJung is not the sign of fear, but more like he concerns about how EunJung would feel seeing him kissing another girl right in front of her. She knows about all his kisses, but knowing or watching on TV and seeing it from the 1st row are the different things.
And I dunno but consider ‘reliability’ of a man by his stage kisses?.. Don’t know.
I understand that we see things in different ways because we have different attitude to JangWoo. I trust him now and learnt how to accept all his flaws and seeming playboy-ness. While you seem more like initially EunJung’s fan who wants the best for favourite idol, and therefore it’s hard for you to accept JangWoo as he is since he’s not perfect as other actors/idols out there. Anyway you may not support them fully but still enjoy the ride in WooJung ship since it’s so much more interesting than in the other ships

I don’t know, but I wouldn’t interpret his words as you likely do, that having ‘marriage’ with EunJung and seeing all her flaws he understood that his wife should be a great cook. I see it the other way as I said before. That falling in love with EunJung he understood that there is so much more to love in person than her pretty face and figure.
